The Heart of the Nebula

Description
At the very center of the Heart Nebula (IC 1805) lies Melotte 15, a young open star cluster whose powerful winds and radiation sculpt the glowing clouds around it into intricate shapes. Towering pillars of dust and gas rise like cosmic sculptures, their crimson edges illuminated by the newborn stars within. Roughly 7,500 light-years away in the constellation Cassiopeia, this region is both delicate and fierce — a stellar nursery where creation unfolds, carving beauty from chaos. Here, the universe beats with a heart of fire, endlessly renewing itself among the stars.
